This will be the last of the changes to this log as we are technically out of the beta period...

In the past month :

• fixed major bug in forum reply system after mistakenly posting some unfinished code on saving pictures with replies - sorry about that!  pics in replies coming soon!
  

• made some changes to the gear review area

• other stuff that i have forgetten about!

My list just got a bit bigger. More stuff fixed over the past month:

• Intro/Changes to product links
• New members (in preparation for more info on who's online and new session handling system to prevent unwanted log outs)
• Fixes to Forum and new, more user friendly reply handling system
• Addition of SquashGame Toolbar link  (left menu)
  
• Addition of SquashGame Chat link for members without the toolbar

Update 27/1/06

Made a number of small changes over the past two weeks...

• minor layout changes
• minor editing of links to suit new format
• minor changes to top menu
• upgrading of google site map(for more up to date search results)

also fixed a few bugs...

• error in forum replies as a result of 4 digit id numbers fixed
• minor problems with Squash websites admin

my immediate to do list is now down about 7 items - just about done!

Changes to the Members' Forum allow members to view the author's Member Profile  so long as the author has a Member Profile. It also provides details of Forum posts which the author has made and allows contact between members as long as each has a Member Profile. A number of small bugs througout the site have been tracked down and fixed. If clicking on a link gives an unexpected result, please let me know.

Changed News/Forum/Tournament layout and categorisation. Image uploads has improved error checking to minimise user error. Sorted out bugs in Gear Review and News.  Added new content to Squash Rules and Specs.  Some editing to this area is need to finalise this content.

Squash Websites now fully functional - help files now avalable on all pages Get a FREE trial on a Squash website until the end of January 2006. Altered Members Forum display to show moe info on posts and replies. Further optmised pages for search engines

Last few days spent optimising site for search engines to improve search rankings. Tracked down and fixed bug which prevented dot points appearing in internet explorer.

Update 8/12

Revised hyperlink format in a number of pages for optimum navigation. Please let me know if your navigation goes "haywire" at any time. there may be more of these unsuitable links out there. Continued to work on help file.

Good news. Members can now attach images to their forum posts. look to the right (if you dare!)  For now this will be limited to one image per post but it will be extended in the future to multiple images. at that time we will also enable replies with images.

Update 4/12

SquashGame members can now save images for use in the Members' Forum or Squash Websites. Attaching images to forum items/articles/posts will be enabled within 24 hours. Access via left menu or in Member Services

Finally made progress on picture uploads for members (espesially for forum posts and squash websites) . Feature available within 36 hours.

A few cosmetic changes to top strip menu. Still battling with picture uploads which will be available with all forum posts. Hopefully good news tomorow.

Reinstated rego processing file (thanks aprice1985). Added some content to serve(library) more to go...

Our search service for members had a bug which is now fixed. Members who got no results for a seach without any follow up from us could re-search and we will follow up.

Gear reviews now working although not "fully" tested. if you break it let me know! Other fixes I cannot even think of!

To settle an argument between Rita and Raymond, you can now vote in our Squash Game mini poll

The vote is for the text size for articles and content. We will continue to mix sizes where appropriate (eg some menus will remain in 8pt). The choices are the text size you are seeing now - 9pt

The other choice is this size. it in an arial 8 pt font. It is also the font in the Members' Forum menu to the right. For now, the poll is for members only. Our next poll will decide if visitors can vote too! Members log in and vote on the left.

Welcome to our new look site. Although we are extremely disappointed that we were not able to get all the new features up and running at this time, we should finalise the upgrade over the next 10 days or so.

We would appreciate any feedback you might have, especially in relation to the site's cross browser capability. Although it has been tested in a number of different browsers, the internet being what it is, major site disfiguration is always on the cards.

We will keep you up to date on how things are progressing but feel free to browse at will and discover for yourself. A major help file is on the way to assist in using the site's features - it will be here soon. Your patience is appreciated.
