Played a number of people on the weekend, and I managed to beat people I had just beaten before more easily and more importantly I took a game off someone I can never beat and pushed him to 5 points or so in the other games.
Why have I improved ?
1. Hitting more balls in practice, especially to length and most importantly return of serve, ie most returns now are reasonably tight and do not see me in trouble off the bat.
2. All of my serves are tight.
3. Reading peoples shots better.
4. Lots of practice on my own volleying, I am now cutting off many more shots by my opponents.
5. Fitter, I do not tire quickly at all, and this is after playing 6 different people over nearly two hours with little break.
Now for that lesson I was planning !

- A word of warning, do not take this improvement for granted, so keep looking at the ten fundamentals (taking just a few aspects at a time) and keep revising and doing game preparation and visualisation for all the matches.
- Let us know of any downfalls you come across, and hopefully we can set up some more drills or whatever seems to be applicable.
- As you take on a new skill/aspect always revise the old one, and keep building on it.
Thanks for letting us know, as that gives encouragement to other members to keep striving.Well done.
