I'll be short – you had the last word on that topic ... :-)
But still you did not answer my question regarding the Australia vs. England team match?

Well, the results are already becoming evident - this link will give the World Mens and Womens Rankings where you will see who is doing what.
Slavi, I have to have the last word on this - at least the Aussies, when they slip down the list, retire, and take a post at a Club in Europe or UK - drat, so Oz loses out, but squash gets great benefit overseas. Then to add fuel to the fire, the players live overseas, to compete in the tournament circuits to earn a living, so it is a double whammy.
Unfortunately, well paid positions for squash players and coaches is few and far between in Oz - "get ya hanky out and wipe the tears!"

France -- 2 records
Canada -- 1 record but what a player :-)
Australia -- 3 records
England -- 5 records
Egypt -- 3 records
Scotland -- 1 record, though the guy was born Australian/ now living in USA
Malasia -- 2 records
Finland -- 1 record (actually only 1 record for the whole PSA ranking)
Pakistan -- 1 record ...
And speaking of David Palmer – I admire this guy's racket skills and greed for success on court. But unfortunately, our Cangaroo on viagra as he's known, was beaten at British Open by the guy who should not defeat him. So, in squash, especially in the top 20-25, everything is possible and I think Ray mentioned that the game is like see-saw.
Answering the question further – the future of AUS versus ENG squash in PSA cirsuit - let's compare the young blood players on the run (Matthew, Willstrop, Grant, Barker, Parke, Barrington, Ball, Chaloner vs. Kneipp being fed up with his game, Jenson, Pilley, Boswell gloriously coming back, Raj Nanda);
statistic shows clearly that Australian squash is in the dead end street for now. If there would be a National match between Australia and England, England would be easy winner 3-1.
Just for fun : what would be the teams line up?

What a great story.
The other side of the coin, Brisbane now has 25 clubs playing competition so the next question is "how long will Australia stay on top"?
