I guess if having the men, women and over 35 in the final of the biggest tournament in squash does not get the Australian members of the site going then I am not sure what will ! (smile)
Cheers Viper

its great to see natalie and anthony doing so well. i will have to admit that i never thought i would see natalie in a british open final although i am very happy to be proved very wrong!!
as for enthusiasm from our members, remember that probably less than 10% of them come from australia, the rest come from just about anywhere else! you just wait when we have a finalist from denmark, the czech republic, hungary, brazil or usa - they will go ballistic!!!

We could still win both titles.

Does anyone follow the biggist tournament in world squash ? especially given Australian players have a big chance of winning both male and female titles at least ?

I have to agree with Viper, this forum is for talking/ sharing the POV/ learning. So, apart from reading the news, we should talk about them.
Coming to the point of discussion – Aussies for Dunlop British Open Title, I would assume Ricketts glory tonight, though I would not understimate young gun Willstrop lust for the title. Let's not forget that he's on the high wave now after dispatching the greatest showmen of squash ever, mr. Jon Power. Pretty shocking game and for Willstrop it's like a milestone in his career. If you look at the finalists stamina and condition level, you have to see that both of them had 5-gamers in the semis, both of the games were longer than average 60 minutes. Though in this case James Willstrop looks much better, as he won last two games with Power. There are two important factors to consider - conditionally he was much better prepared, but mentally as well. Losing the match 2-1, he finished at 3-2 without the tie-breakers, so, the difference was clear.
So, regardless your Patriot feelings, Viper, let's stay objective, because Anthony was beaten few times in the recent years by the young Englishmen. Then, do not forget Anthony's slipped one position down in the PSA Ranking, losing to Lincou in Pakistan Open 2005, Losing previously to Nicol in Shaikha All Saad Kuwait open, but winning beautifully in USA. He played in 13 PSA tournaments this year, James did appear on 11 tournaments, so, maybe he's less tired. So, the game will definitelly be the thriller and i do vote for James. He is coming up pretty fast on the ladder of international squash. And I have to admit I admire his skills (I have even played with e-squash rackett, now I changed for N-tour Wilson though).
Bu the way – Dunlop British Open is NOT the biggest tournament in squash.
I think it is Kuwait Open where the World Champion is announced is the biggest/ the most important on earth. Isn't it?
