Has anyone ever run into this problem ... I recently brough out a pair of Adidas Stabil 2 which I had bought from an online store which was getting rid of older models. I had not used them in 6 months as I had been wearing out my current pair of Asics.
The shoes are great, but they have way too much grip. In only a few times using them, I have almost rolled my ankle a few times and a few days ago, finally did ... fortunately not a sprain, but some pain. I am going to retire them for gym workouts and go to another shoe. Is there such a thing as to much grip in particular as you move lateraly? Anyone have a problem with this?

Squash players need a "court" shoe because of the amount of twisting and turning during squashplay. Many years ago I played in a tennis shoe and went to step back to a ball behind to make a boast shot and rolled my ankle so the lesson was learned, if it is high and will flip over on the edges of the sole and heel forget them.

Indoor court shoes are a good choice, eg. as in table tennis or badminton.
