Hello,
I would like to ask you if my racquet was restrung properly - I have 4 knots. Did they make a mistake, did I give wrong instructions or maybe everything is fine? Enclosed please find the pictures.
Before, with oryginal strings it had only two knots, the same was with my previous racquet which oryginaly also had two knots as well two knots after restringing.
My current racquet is head i.110. I gave PowerNick 19 to the stringer asking for 25 lbs (racquet's head is 495cm2 and I wanted to have it a little bit on the power side). I also gave following instructions (which I do not understand fully - I found them on the net):
m=main string
c=cross string
t=top of frame
b= bottom of frame
s=short side main
racquet description
tension = 21-34
length = 17'm-16'c
pattern = 12mx17c
skip m holes = 6,8b
tie off m = 4t
start c = 7t
tie off c = 5t-4b

Thank you for your reply.
Which way of stringing is better: one piece or two pieces? Does one method have any advantages over the other? Which one woud you reccommend?

Its ok. Most raquets can be stringed two (string) pieces (4 knots) or one piece. If you didn´t ask specificaly for one piece stringing, you shouldn´t wory.

Either 2 piece or 1 piece is fine unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer. Head actually prefer two piece and indeed all their tennis racquets are specified as two piece only. In reality you can always do any racquet with either but some manufacturers try and distance themselves from 10 and 2 o'clock breakages caused by bad racquet mounting. It's easier to do if you string throat to head so 2 piece minimises this risk somewhat.
