At the Squash World Cup in Chennai England coach Chris Robertson said. "The manner of the win was very good"
Willstrop defeated Pilley in a tight four setter. "James had to play some really good stuff to go two-love up. Then he was challenged a bit - but it was good to see the passion he displayed in coming through. The first rubber was pretty crucial."
Jenny Duncalf defeated Rachael Grinham after pulling out all stops in a hard five set match.
"Jenny played a high quality game - she responded to the task in the best possible way. It was really pleasing to see her beat Rachael, an experienced opponent.”
Just got to say Robertson was one of my most successful students when he was a Qld junior winning the World Junior U/19 in about 1983. Good to see Chris doing well in his coaching career.

The Aussies come in with a Bronze Medal.
Egypt defeated England, Australia defeated Malaysia. Final results:

Bronze medal play-off
Good effort for the Aussies since squash in this country is really on the downturn as courts are being demolished, converted, and the land redeveloped. How can a country sustain its reputation as a top squash nation without courts, without large numbers of juniors coming through, is a sad thought.
