Carin Clonda has played squash as long as I can remember and often took deep hard breaths during her games, and in spite of this often turned out to be the winner. Just two years ago I saw her playing in the Qld Open and she still plays and coaches and is as keen as ever for the game, in spite of the toll her illness has taken on her game. I am convinced squash can only do your lungs good. All things look good on paper but what sticks in my mind is the determination to keep going, the attitude in spite of adversity.
