Having just attended the launch of the Aussie Hall of Fame where 7 World Champions were inducted, I feel proud to have played and coached in that era. As each recipient spoke of their introduction to squash, their journey, the mentors, their turning points in their career, it was clear their love for the game was passionate, and in some ways addictive; and, I quote Heather Mackay's comment, "I never liked to be beaten" which was a common thread in the description of their road to success.
