Pushing at the Ball?

Pushing at the ball usually means there is a lack of power in the drives. This may cause problems getting the ball out of the back of the court, especially the back corners. What to do to try to correct this pushing action.
- Rotate the forearm when swinging at the ball.
- Try to swing the racket with an action resembling a side-arm softball throw.
- It is important to have a stable base of support with the feet to feel well balanced.
- Transfer weight when swinging, as in throwing a ball as far as possible.
