There is no doubt the Masters Squash Events are well and alive.   Of course they cater for as many ages and grades as possible.  A tournament with 750 entries is a great result for NZ Masters to be hosting such an event.  There are 13 Over 75 nominations which is also a great thing for the game. What could be better in retirement than to pack your bags and follow the Masters Circuit.  Winning is only a small part of the event, and friendship, and fun rank very high on the agenda.

It is the "drive" that keeps Masters alive and well.   Good luck.

WSF has given a full report of the results of the World Masters in Christchurch.  There are some familiar names showing up from the past.  Who would have thought that O/35 was a Masters player.  That age I thought would be the prime of life! The Aussies took out six of the titles, well done.  Squash is so good for your health and well-being.

Barry Gardiner winds up the event, and I note he said "9:0 9:0 9:0 might be a bit too competitive"

Take a look at the countries represented at the World Masters in NZ.  What a credit to the Masters to have built up such a great event for squash.

The results can be found at this link.  Note the new tournament software.

Seedings for World Masters in NZ 2008.  Stuart Davenport is the top seed.  He has been retired for some years, and about 20 years ago was ranked World No. 2.  He says he is still pretty fit so he will soon find out how squash fit he is during this event.

as Rippa Rit suggested I focused on what to do to get in the match rather than beating myself up over errors.
