One thing about Egypt it takes squash to the people. It must be working for them as they have six of the world top ten competing in the SKY Petrosport Squash Open starting soon.
I am not sure about the open-air by day, though at night unless it rained, it sounds a perfect idea.
You know going back 25 years Ken Hiscoe had this dream for squash in Australia and had a demountable glass court built to take squash on the road. That was in the days of plenty of squash venues in this country, heaps of good open players, and a tribe of juniors itching to make the top in the sport. While I would say finanacially it was Ken's loss at the time, it really was also a terrible blow to the sport in this country due to the lack of vision, lack of promotion to potential sponsors, and a general lack of co-operation by all stake holders at that time, especially evident when I see the way sponsors have got behind squash overseas. Yeah, it costs money to erect, dismantle and transport a portable court about. Chris Robertson, Rod Martin and Co. played on this court at the Chandler Sports and Aquatic Centre.
If football arenas can advertise sponsors products surely this would have been a great chance to do the same for squash. IT IS NO GOOD CRYING OVER SPILT MILK.

In this case take the court to the sponsors in the Clare Valley, South Australia.
Keep your eye on Zac Alexander our up and coming young player who has featured in many of squashgame's video clips. Good luck Zac.
