can anyone give me any tips on how to play against peopel with strange styles. They are often people with little proper training who dont really rally, i currently can play well against guys at my uni who are on 1st/2nd team but crash out against no hope hackers for some reason, i take all the games seriously but just cant seem to beat them when others who i can beat do. aprice - I wrote an article about fluke shots and I think this would apply to your situation. With the incorrect grip, unorthodox swing, I am sure a lot of the shots are flukes.
When the opponent is about to strike the ball just be prepared to take off and be sure to get the ball back into play. The fundamentals still apply, eg tight, corners, move the opponent from the centre of the court.
