Opponents getting in the way can be accidental as their court movement and ball control is not very good, and other times it can be used as a tactic; the reason makes no difference to how you feel about this "feeling" that someone is hanging about when you are attempting to get in position to strike the ball.

After doing a really good return, that turns into a stroke to the opponent or a let, it is very frustrating. What can be done to prevent this happening?:-
    • Keep away from the side wall to return the ball making it easier to clear the ball.
    • Try to remain balanced while striking the ball. If weight is transferred forward, where balance is lost, after striking the ball, it makes it hard to recover to the centre of the court, as well as get out of the opponent's way.
Note: Cross court shots cause less interference, but, it also means the ball is often being returned straight back to the opponent. That is ok too if you just want to be nice!squash game squash extras How to add images to Members' Forum posts and replies here...
