After Ray's comment about the ball hitting the tin I had a further look at the video and from the back the ball seemed fine, but at the very end it shows the ball from the front and the ball definitely hits the tin as it sort of lifts in the air.  Watch the video right to the end and then there is this sort of replay happening showing the tin shot (the one Ricketts hit, that was difficult to see from the back) and Ramy skid along the floor to get it back.).

I know I'm echoing what's already been said, but what a shame that these beautiful videos are so insanely expensive. Wish squash live and psa live could merge somehow -- create high quality product at a more reasonable price.

It's clear he thought Ricketts either carried or hit off 2 bounces in the middle of the rally. Don't know why he thought that, it was clearly up.

I agree with Ray, he is either appealing for a double bounce or double hit from Ricketts, but all shots were good. What I  find amazing is he has time to appeal and look at the ref mid rally! He is so quick. I'd have thought just raising your non playing hand would've sufficed.

It has been a while since I visited the squash live site. There were loads of sample clips to download from Windy City and Pace Canadian. Some excellent clips, especially the ones with Willstrop, he sure knows how to finish a rally. And the quality of the clips is outstanding. It is such a shame the DVD's are so expensive

there was no let on the drop because the drop was down.

he was waving at the ref, because he thought the return from ricketts in the backhand corner, towards the end of the rally, was a second bounce. it seemed obvious from the replay that all shots were good.

it sometimes happens when you think you have played a winner and the other player returns it, you simply cannot believe that the ball was good.

I guess that Ramy is waving at somebody in the crowd who was too loud and therefore Ramy lost his concetration for a while. Look what is Ramy doing when rally ends, he is evidently angry, but no because of drop shot situation...

Agreed - NO let on the dropshot

Yeah good clip and good rally.  Not sure what you are referring to, but I reckon NO let on the drop shot.

PS
So I went back and run through that clip 5 times and after the second I did see the arm bit (too busy concentrating on the ball), yet there seemed to be nothing about the play so it must have been some crowd distraction, what else?
