has anyone any advice on the best way to do solo practice.  I am really bad at it and it just ends up frustrating me as i haven't got the consistency that i have even in a game or with my coach and my shots are wild.

aprice - start off with short chipping at the front wall (letting the ball bounce).
It is racket head control, speed control, backswing, wrist control.

Then repeat the same as a volley.
Then step back a bit further, and repeat the exercise.

can you hit 10 balls in a row (drive or lob) that land between the service box and backwall? both forehand and backhand sides?

After reading your hints and tips on serving, footwork, strokes, my game is becoming more and more professional and my coach is shocked with the development I've made.
