Is there such a thing as a telltale in Squash or Racketball
I've been playing both for years but never heard of the expression

"where have you blokes been??
the telltale is the tin. at a guess i would say it is because that when the tin is hit, there is the telltale noise,"

the telltale is the tin. at a guess i would say it is because that when the tin is hit, there is the telltale noise, whereas if there were just a line, it would be very difficult to tell where the ball had hit!

I Actually have no idea what it is as I just don't but it does mention that telltale in the first bit about the court...

I believe the term "telltale" is not a term used in the Rules, but more a player's term.
Yep, I suppose the Board and the Tin form the telltale.
It is a pity there was not a tell tale on the lines around the court as well - it might stop a few arguments. When we get hawkeye that will fix that.
