You are in a much better position to me to make that call and I respect your opinion, so a loss it will be.
My problem is more with entity rather than any personalities within, SA seems so aloof and disengaged from the people that really matter. ie the loyal sods that turn up each week, play pennant and so keep the whole leaking ship afloat. And you cannot say the national peak body is for the elite only because their mission statement says directly they are charged with fostering the grass roots of the sport.
Anyway thanks for your efforts NF and good luck with the future

One look at their website will tell anyone who is watching, everything that is happening at the national level in Squash in Australia.

I have a link to Regulations Policies from their website which is just one of many of the submenus on their Home Page, so by clicking each tab you will see there is an enormous amount of work for the CEO to keep on track as well as sit/oversee the various Committees.
Regulation 44 has been reviewed recently and I know took an enormous amount of time to complete, and each regulation has to be continually updated. There are more than 70 Regulations, there are 12 Committees.
In fact everything on that Home Page of the website falls under the CEO's banner.
There is a section I see "Club Development" but does any club ever look at it and take advantage of anything that is offered?. So much time is wasted on initiatives and many times nothing is done, or only very few are smart enough to run with it..
All good ideas are great, but everything has to be administered, and anything requiring a grant must also be accountable.
Yes I believe Norman has tried to take squash forward and has made some inroads into the future of the game. He has been dedicated to improving the image of SA, he has listened, and tried to prioritise the jobs that need to be addressed.
Norman will be hard to replace.
