Are there any good tips on how to anticipate what kind of return shot your opponent might play? I tried watching my opponent before he strikes, but if im close to him at the time i risk missing a fast return as im concentrating on the player rather than, where on the court, the best position for me might be to counter his return.
Appologies i mistakingly posted this in SquahStory rather that SquashForum.

- speed of the ball
- position on the court
- height of the ball
- depth of the ball within the court
- body position/angle of the opponent
- racket swing
- speed of the swing
- length of the swing
- angle of the racket face
- striking position of the ball
Here is the link to decision making, of which anticipation is one of the sub menus.
