They say you learn more from defeat than you do from victory. In that case I am learning a hell of a lot. My saga of defeat continues, but there is a tiny light at the end of the tunnel.
When you are down, things always seem to go wrong. When they do we often call them reason for a defeat. Well, maybe.
Excuses for performing poorly...
On the bright side, I was able to improve my movement, especially to the front forehand where I had been having trouble. To a lesser extent also improved my deep backhand movement.
Now need to build on the positives and rectify the negatives. How to add images to Members' Forum posts and replies here...

Excuses for performing poorly...
- New eyewear that I bought was uncomfortable
- My Eyewear kept fogging up badly so could barely see anything
- The walls were wet from the unusual weather - could not play a boast
- Sweat was making my eyewear even worse
- I could not concentrate because of the eyewear situation
- I left buying new eyewear too late - I knew 3 weeks ago my old ones were on the way out but I did nothing about it till the last minute - could not get the ones I normally wear
- Did not come prepared with the correct equipment. - I have a set of IMAX which tend to fog up less but they were not in my bag
- I did not adjust my game plan to suit the court conditions as well as my opponent
- I did not come prepared with a bandana or headband to catch most of the sweat
- I was not mentally tough enough to ignore distractions
On the bright side, I was able to improve my movement, especially to the front forehand where I had been having trouble. To a lesser extent also improved my deep backhand movement.

Find a nice level patch of ground, and just do the ghost/dance stuff for about 20mins a day and it will really help heaps.
That lunging and twisting will really help those quads too.
Of course swing your racket too and concentrate on the footwork and fluency.
