At my squash club people can look into the courts as you are playing, as there is a corridor that runs past above the back wall. Normally people watching whilst walking past doesn't bother me but on sunday afternoon there was a large group of people stood around up there. It sounded like they were waiting for people. I wasn't too bothered but the problem was whenever I started practising drives the noise I made meant that they had to start shouting to hear each other. Now this wasn't actually my problem as I'd paid for the court etc and there were plenty of other places for them to stand, but what really annoyed me was the way one woman said (just loud enough so that I could hear on court) "I can't hear myself think with all this racket going on." The way she said it implied that I was being as loud as possible just to annoy them! I had a powerful urge to slam the ball hard and high so that it would go flying right into them but of course I didn't. If it ever happens again I think I'll ask for them to be moved. Being loud on purpose my backside. How to add images to Members' Forum posts and replies here...

Probably these people knew nothing about squash either and probably were a bit curious as well.
Some people do find it a bit strange belting this little black ball into oblivion.
