Wondering if anyone could let me know some of the top players tensions as well as how often they go through rackets.
Just a couple facts i've been wanting to know.
Thanks

I will try to make a couple of enquiries and talk to those "in the know" who are stringing rackets.
With the power the pros are generating I would think the tension would be quite tight, as it would soon loosen. But these guys would be sponsored so probably have about 6 rackets at their disposal at any one time.
Rackets generally do not break unless they are hit on the floor or the wall, and of course if the tension is high it is likely they will snap or go out of shape more easily.
Will get back to you in a few days.

markinjapan,
The only Pro (well, ex-pro now) racquet I have strung is Craig Rowlands. He will typically have his racquet strung at 32 Lbs, which is quite firm. As far as strings go, he pretty much rotated from Ashaway Supernick XL, to Ashaway Powernick 18, and also Technifibre (green 305).
