Played today and it was like I had 3 legs !

It so reminded me that when I feel I am on song, footwork is a vital reason for me playing well.

It really is a complex sport when you play it well.

Timing, timing, timing.... not unlike the best sport on earth....golf.

Viper - I know exactly how you feel when, you seem to either strike the ball too early, or too late, feel too close, then too far away - bugger!!
Heather Mackay had a tip "hum a tune" to try to bring back the rhythm.  Walk with a bit of flow in the steps might help you get in tune too.
Definitely leave the drop shots till you feel "just right".
Or, Viper, go back to bed, and get out the other side, and see if you can start the day all over again
If you were dancing your poor partner would have sore toes for sure!
